Location, getting here & parking
Wolfsklamm Gorge is located in the heart of Tyrol in Stans in the Karwendel Silver Region, and can be easily accessed by car, train or bus
Travelling by car
Stans is accessible via the A12 motorway coming from Germany / Kufstein, as well as from Innsbruck, just take the exit for Schwaz. Or the motorway exit for Jenbach (only possible coming from the Innsbruck direction).
Several opportunities for free parking are available in Stans. You can park your car at Stans football grounds, next to Laurentius Church or the waste collection center.
There is also a car park right next to the entrance of the Wolfsklamm Gorge. Please note, however, that this car park is private and belongs to Hotel Brandstetterhof. A fee is charged, which does not cover any admission fees for the Wolfsklamm.
Arrival by bus or train
ÖBB (Austrian Rail) regional trains stop directly at Stans station. The Wolfsklamm Gorge is only a leisurely stroll away.
Public bus services also take you to the region of Stans in Tyrol.
